I absolutely love the concept behind this skincare line, fresh from France, called Absolution. It’s the first certified organic unisex skincare line. In addition, it’s also one of the most uniquely and beautifully packaged ones too!
One of their star products is the LA SOLUTION + ECLAT
which gave me a beautiful bright, clear glow and soft smooth skin, with no irritation.
Just a few pumps of this lightweight serum after cleansing felt and smelled amazing. It absorbed quickly and left a nice trace of a slightly citrus, green scent on my skin for a few minutes after application.
I also loved using it as a quick reviving mask before going out in the evening. It’s versatile enough to also be mixed in with either your day cream (their own LA CREME DU JOUR is lovely by the way), or tinted moisturizer to give your skin an added glow and all day hydration.
Give yourself a wonderful, organic beauty treat with this Absolution line now that it’s no longer just a French skin care secret! – RLB

I recently met Josie Maran, of her namesake cosmetics and skincare line, and got a sneak preview of several new skincare and makeup products for spring and summer. One of the first I want to share with you is one that many of you will love to see. It’s Josie Maran Blemishes R Gone Argan Acne Clearing Pads 60 Pads.
Like all of her core products, the Acne Clearing Pads are infused with pure, Moroccan Argan Oil, the ingredient which is a skin care healer, toner and well as moisturizer. What’s great about these pads are they provide a gentle (non-stinging) solution for mild to moderate acne. The pads are damp and smell so nice! A bit of a apricot sweet scent which is unique for an acne product and very pleasant. The pads also contain natural salicylic acid, willow bark, and organic aloe vera and they felt very gentle.
After applying on a small area of blemishes for just two days (2x day), not only were they gone, but the entire area looked much more toned and glowing. There was no redness or irritation after usage, and it never dried out the area, creating flaking or dry patches. These pads are also a great skin care product for just sweeping over your t-zone to control oil during the day. One pad is big enough for your entire face if needed, and if you just have a few small blemishes, you can even cut it in half using one half for morning and one for night time.

If you’re looking to make a little luxe beauty purchase for yourself, or need to purchase a new cleanser and wouldn’t mind “trading up” – this is the CHANEL cleanser for you.
I used this on a recent trip and wow this made me forget everything I was using at home in my usual washing regime. The scent is the first thing that grabbed my attention – so soft, floral and yet still light and fresh.
The texture is super creamy and silky, and so concentrated that less than a pea-sized amount was needed to cleanse my entire face. As directed, I added the cleanser into my hand and then added a few drops of water to create the lather and then added it to my face. When I rinsed, my skin felt extremely clean, smooth and fresh with no dryness or tightness. This is especially nice after a workout or very hot day to revive and refresh the skin!
This will work for most skin types, and ideal for normal and combination. I also found it’s great for removing makeup as well. It’s A CHANEL beauty treat that’s worth every penny. – RLB

Here’s a line from a new organic brand that’s refreshing and has lots of added skincare benefits. Organica Pure Aloe Vera & Honey Facial Wash and Body Cleanser are two wonderful products to try.
The facial wash, along with the body wash, are lightweight gel formulas that cleanse gently with a soft, low sudsing action. The aloe/honey fragrance was really nice, authentic and subtle. After rinsing, my skin felt clean, but also toned and soft without being stripped. This is a perfect cleanser for extremely hot/humid days and post-work out to really revive and re-energize yourself.
The line’s Aloe Vera is sourced from the Yucatan along with very high quality honey (which is a natural moisturizer and anti-bacterial agent). My skin had a beautiful glow and a nice level of moisture (if you have very dry skin you will need to follow up with a moisturizer however).
This is a lovely way to cleanse organically! – RLB

This is not only a great beauty buy but a real innovation as well! Milani LIQUIF’EYE Liquid Eye Liner Automatic Propel Pencil is actually a gel/liquid formula which starts out in solid pencil form.
The way it works is like this: apply the eyeliner, then if desired smudge, extend the line or blend it. Wait 15 seconds for it to set and then voila all day vibrant color!
The pencil is very thin and easy to control, and the pencil is smooth so there’s no tugging or pulling on the eyelid or waterline. There’s no sharpening required After setting, the liner was budge proof all day with great pigmented vibrant color – upper and lower lash lines! The color I loved was the Deep Indigo Blue which really makes brown eyes stand out.
There’s also a pretty, rich emerald green and a true deep blue-purple (shown above). These will remain a makeup kit staple for me when I want vibrant eye color that I can apply in the morning and forget about! – RLB

Have you ever heard of a beauty salon spa before? Although you might have, you want to be sure not to confuse beauty salons with beauty salon spas. Yes, they are quite similar and alike in many ways, but there is a difference between a traditional beauty salon and a beauty salon spa. For that reason, if you have yet to try a beauty salon spa, you may want to think about doing so.
When it comes to visiting a beauty salon spa, many individuals wonder exactly why they should do so. As previously mentioned, traditional beauty salons and beauty salon spas are not the same, despite the fact that many people actually think that they are. Therefore, you should think about visiting a beauty salon spa just for the point of trying something new. In all honesty, it is something that you will likely remember for years to come.
One of the reasons why a beauty salon spa visit will likely be a memorable one for you is because of the services that you have access to poundmed.com. When examining the services that could be provided to you, it is important to remember that not all beauty salon spas are the same. For that reason, if you are looking for a particular service, like a spray on tan, you may want to think about contacting your local beauty salon spa ahead of time to first make sure that they do offer spray on tans.
Are you looking to improve the way that you look? Although you may think that you need to start an exercise plan or go under the knife, you don’t necessarily have to. With recent developments in technology, there are now a number of beauty products that can help you improve your appearance, beauty wise. For instance, you can choose to color your hair if you wish to change the color of it, buy eye makeup to bring out the beautiful color of your eyes and so forth. However, if you are interested in turning to beauty products for assistance, you will need to find a beauty supply store to shop at.
When it comes to finding a beauty supply store to shop at, you will find that you have a number of different options. One of those options involves visiting your local shopping mall or shopping plaza. A large number of beauty supply stores are located inside these types of shopping centers. What is nice about beauty stores being located inside a shopping mall is that you can save buying your beauty products until you have to make a mall trip; there is no need to make a special trip. This is nice if you don’t have a mall located in the same town or city as you live in.
Brought to you by Proactiv Solution – treat acne and prevent future breakouts.
With so many products making so many claims, it’s easy to be confused by clever marketing. Fortunately, just a bit of education can get you on the path to choosing the proper cosmetics and using them wisely. Here are seven good rules to follow for a healthy make-up regimen:
1. Avoid penetrating oils. Contrary to popular belief, not all oils are comedogenic. Petroleum products, mineral oil and sunflower oil do not penetrate into the pore. Most cosmetic oils, however, can aggravate acne — so it’s best to avoid them. In general, products labelled “oil-free” and “non-comedogenic” are less likely to clog your pores and trigger breakouts.
2. Steer clear of sweet smells. Fragrance is a major cause of allergic and irritant reactions on the face. Even products that claim to be “unscented” may include fragrances added to mask the smell of other ingredients. It’s best to stick with products labelled as “fragrance-free” or “hypo-allergenic.” Of course, reactions to fragrance differ dramatically, and you may find certain perfumes that don’t affect your skin.
3. Be smart about shadow and blush. The stuff that puts the sparkle in your eye shadow, face powder and blush is usually mica, a common mineral. The jagged, flaky shape of mica particles can cause irritation and/or clogging in the follicle, so it’s best to use products without too much shimmer. Check the labels for blushes that use carmine, which has been a natural, healthy cosmetic colorant since the time of the Aztecs. Also, cream blushes are more likely to have comedogenic ingredients, so stick to powder or gel blushes.
